Top Travel Quotes That Will Inspire You To Travel The World.

Sharing is caring!

In the era of travel videos and films, travel quotes are still a big source of inspiration. That single line can boost you up and charge you for your journey. I love travel quotes. There is something about these travel quotes which just make you motivated for your next trip. They even remind you of your previous trips.

During the past years of traveling, I have sorted some of my favorite travel quotes. They always inspire me to begin a new journey. This article is going to be about the top travel quotes which will inspire you to travel the world and follow your dream.

Let’s get started

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page” – Agustine of Hippo

This is one of my favorite travel quotes. You get only one life and spending it in just one place is just experiencing one part of this beautiful world or as said in this quote you are just going to read one single page of the best book there ever was – THE WORLD

“A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving” – Lao Tzu

Earlier during my initial phase of traveling, I was just a tourist. I had all my days planned, the complete itinerary of every single hour. I realized my mistake after 2 3 months. This was when my transformation from a tourist to a traveler started. Today I can say that I am not a tourist but a very good traveler.

“I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list” – Susan Sontag

Quotes That Will Inspire You To Travel The World.

Yes, oh yes. There are a lot of things on my list. I did cross off many things during the past few years and trust me crossing off things you did form your list has a different level of relief and happiness or should I say happyness.

“Once a year, go somewhere you have never been before” – Dalai Lama

This is the one thing you should try because the more places you visit the more change you see in yourself and the more you grow. The interaction with people, learning different cultures, seeing different places truly helps you to keep you happy. It doesn’t have to be an international trip, you can visit some cities in your country or any place which is convenient for you. Just try someplace new and you’ll feel the difference.

Some of the famous travel quotes

“Not all those who wander are lost” – J.R.R. Tolkien

“Don’t listen to what they say. Go see.”

Quotes That Will Inspire You To Travel The World.

“All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware” – Martin Buber

“Don’t tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you have traveled.”

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did.” ― Mark Twain

“Work, Travel, Save, Repeat”

“Work, Travel, Save, Repeat”

“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller” – Ibn Battuta.

“I’m in love with cities I’ve never been to and people I’ve never met.” – John Green

“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer”

“Live life with no excuses, travel with no regret” – Oscar Wilde

Inspirational Quotes For TRavel

“All you need is love and a passport.”

“Travel. Your money will return. Your time won’t.”

“It is not down in any map, true places never are.” – Herman Melville

“Don’t ask for security, ask for adventure. Better to live 30 years full of adventure than 100 years safe” – Jim Rohn

“One’s destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things” – Henry Miller

“The world makes way for the man who knows where he is going.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.

Travel Quotes that have inspired me a lot.

“Paris is always a good idea” – Audrey Hepburn

Inspirational Quotes For TRavel

My No.1 quote, my favorite travel destination, my dream destination. Yes, it is always a good idea.

“Once the travel bug bites, there is no known antidote, and I know that I shall be happily infected until the end of my life” – Michael Palin

It has bitten me and truly there is no antidote for this. I guess I am at the last stage of this very dangerous disease, but I love it and I would want this with me till the very end.

“Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain” ― Jack Kerouac

Yeah, as simple as that.

“If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine. It’s lethal”Paul Coelho

Being a rich robot and being tied up for the next 40 years vs being a broke bird and living your life just the way you want. You choose.

“To travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about other countries” – Aldous Huxley

This is one of the biggest positives of traveling. I admire this travel quote. We as a society just see some things said about a place or country on the news or somewhere on our smartphone and believe it like that.

Now, I am not saying the media people give fake news, but they just show a certain incident from that place and we end up believing that it may not be a nice place. But when you travel to that place and see the place yourself then you may realize how wrong you were.

“Oh Darling, Let’s Be Adventurers.”

Inspirational Quotes For TRavel

Another favorite travel quote of mine. It is the perfect line for your loved one.

“You don’t have to be rich to travel well.” – Eugene Fodor

“I want to fly, I want to run, I also want to fall, I just don’t want to stop” – Hussain Dalal (Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani Movie)

This is a dialogue from my loved movie. It is originally in Hindi. I have just translated it into English. Whenever I hear this dialogue, it gives me goosebumps and makes me want to travel more.

You can stream the movie here – Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

“I’d rather get lost in direction than in time.”Vishal Hadal (Yeah, that’s me)

I wrote this quote when I was sitting in my classroom and attending a very boring lecture. I was checking the clock every 5 mins and was eagerly waiting for the lecture to get over. This was the time I came up with this one.
