MEET THE HIPPIE
Hey guys my name is Vishal Hadal. A 21 yr old guy trying to get my dreams into reality. Well let’s be honest we all want something in our lives, but the real question is how much effort do we make to turn that dream into reality. Being a travel blogger seems a very easy and a fun job to do, but trust me its not, it much harder than a 9-5 job. I belong to a family where my parents believe in getting a job for a company and living a robot life .
Well there’s nothing wrong in that but its just that i don’t find it good for me. Like i can’t work for random guy or a random company for just the sake of being settled and earning some money. It’s just one life and as they, why waste it on someone’s else dreams, rather we get creating a life for ourselves which we can rule on.
CREATE A LIFE WHICH YOU ARE PROUD OF. and this is what this website is all going to be about, helping people out in their travel dreams and at the same time completing mine and i know it ain’t going to be soon but i will do it
What Can You Expect From Me ??????
All my travel stories which I experience on the road, which will be helpful to you. All the positive and negative aspects of solo travelling will be listed on the blog.
This was the sole motive of this blog. I will share my experience of a particular place I visit and I will share how you can budget in those cities.
Hey guys, this is Vishal. I am the founder of this website. I am a Civil Engg. Yes, that’s right. Never being interested in this field, I thought of making my life SOMETHING DIFFERENT. I took my first trip in 2016, from then I have been researching about different fields for being a full time traveler. I actually started liking this choice of career. Yes it is a bit unstable, but I know I want it. After researching for almost 1 and half years, I finally started blogging. Blogging being the most logical option and the one that fits me, I choose this as my career option.
Hello, this is Rupali. I am a Civil Engg. Hehehehe, you find it strange right, two civil engineers working on a website to become full time travelers. Yes it is exactly as it sounds. There was initially no plans of creating this website, but one thing led to another and we finally decided to give it a shot. Very unlikely from Vishal, I had no idea of what I have to become or what I truly like. He is very firm about his dream, his career and stuff. But me, I am total opposite of him. We had a college trip in 2017, where we discussed the idea of being a full time traveler. I started liking it, I imagined myself wandering everywhere, that was the moment i decided, yes I wanted to do this.
One tip from me – IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW LATE YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU WANT OR HOW LATE YOU START DREAMING ABOUT YOUR LIFE, THE REALIZATION OF THIS THING IS IMPORTANT. PEOPLE DON’T START DREAMING AS SOON AS THEY ARE BORN, SOME START AT A EARLY AGE AND SOME( LIKE ME) REALIZE IT AFTER SO LONG TIME. IT’S BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.
How It All Started
It was Saturday morning, I was heading towards Solang Valley. I had waited for almost a year for this trek. Before starting the trek, I decided to stop for breakfast. The paratha served with butter melted on top of it, was top notch. The temperature was -1 degree Celsius, my hands were shaking while having those parathas.
However the scenes from that place, just helped me ignore the cold. The snow clad mountains, people walking in with their family and friends, all excited for the adventures in the Solang Valley. Entering the premises, there was this big ground. People skiing on one side, a big queue for the gondola ride, kids riding the ATV’s, parachutes flying all over the mountains. It was all a treat to the eyes.
Not knowing the route, I decided to trek along with the gondola cable. “Excited”, “nervous”, “scared”. All these feelings were just juggling around me. The temperature was falling down as I climbed up. Every step I took, softer the ice would get.Walking upwards, gondola cables cars were continuously passing above me. After trekking for 2 hours, it became very difficult to walk in the snow. The snow was very soft, almost half of my leg was getting buried inside.
Many questions were going through my mind. Am I doing the right thing? Should I quit? Just negative thoughts. But some part of me knew, how badly I wanted to be on the top. I just stopped near by a tree for a while. While watching the view, a gondola cable car was passing above me. A random lady was waving her hands down to me, all excited, happy, telling her friends to look down. It was really weird, but at the same time it also felt good. This was exactly the motivation I needed to continue this trek. It got me boosted and after trekking for an hour I reached the top.
Entering the area, I saw this big board, which said “You are at 3200m, GET STOKED”. It was the best feeling ever. Though it was not a long trek, but I really felt proud of me.
I just went near the edge, sat down and started looking at the view. I had a perfect date feeling, with me and all the snow around. A year long wait was totally worth it.
Don’t ever regret your decisions. Things don’t every time go according to plan. They don’t always happen how you expected them to be. It doesn’t mean you get all depressed and sad. It’s all a part of the process. If anytime in life you get demotivated, and don’t get what you need, just stop for a while and tell yourself just one thing,
BECAUSE I BELIEVE SOMEDAY I WILL.
